The gardens, pool and views
The house is set in about 1acre in the grounds of the owners' house, with extensive views to all aspects. For the children there is a play area with swings and a slide and lots of room for ball games.
The centre piece of the garden is the building which gave the Bergerie its name - an old sheep pen which is now used as the pool house. This provides cover from the hot sun of the afternoon, a room to change in and a prime spot to take evening drinks while watching the sun set.
The pool itself is 9x4 metres, with a stone and gravel surround. It is sanitised by salt (better for the skin they say) and covered to French safety standards by a motorised shutter for safety and insulation.
Part of the property is fenced to enclose the owners' two donkeys.
